An elegant Rose brass East lake Newel Post Lamp from 1870.
Twisted square tube braces with cast brass decorations in
the Eastlake style. A three and 7/8 inch base fits on top
many Newel Posts. Originally Gas powered, it is now
electrified and we can put a three light cluster in
it for extra illumination. We can also use one porcelain
socket and you can use a high wattage bulb. It is wired
with teflon wire. A truly wonderful deep etched 8 panel
shade with four figures in the small panels and medallions
in the larger panels. Every square inch of the surface is
etched. It came out of a stick Victorian in Indianapolis.
We were very lucky to get it.
