Circa 1890. Great Large Room fixture for dining room, living room , large foyer 32" diameter 40" long
Magnificent Gas & Electric Chandelier recently acquired from Marlborough Street Brownstone.
Wonderful original detail with openwork body often seen in Chandeliers of this period ,circa 1890.
Electric light fixtures were up and running but were considered unreliable so Gas option was still
retained. The different size shades are characteristic of this type of fixture. It now resides in a dining
room in Providence , Rhode Island.
