This circa 1900's Cast Glass Inverted Dome came out of a home of a local brownstone in Boston's'
South End. Originally a gas home, this heavy Cast Glass Inverted Dome was probably installed when
this home was electrically renovated. It has superb detailing with oil lamps and garlands on the glass
body and an egg and dart molded detail on top of glass. Very similar molded detailing is repeated on
the canopy that goes against the ceiling. This Dome measures 16" diameter, 30" long. This Dome
could be placed in a parlor, entrance way, hallway, bedroom or foyer.
